Microgels and the stimulable photonic and interference applications thereof
Résumé
Microgels with a heat-sensitive shell used for manufg. transparent and biocompatible films used in cosmetics comprise a core coated with a shell: the core comprising a cross-linked org. polymer with a refractive index greater than 1.46, and the shell being obtainable through polymn. by aq. phase pptn. of monomers in the presence of a first crosslinking agent, said monomers comprising at least di(ethylene glycol) Me ether methacrylate, an oligo(ethylene glycol) Me ether methacrylate and a vinyl monomer comprising a carboxyl group. A typical cosmetic compn. is prepd. by mixing (a)3.982 g microgel particles contg. a ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate - styrene copolymer core and shell from a di(ethylene glycol) Me ether methacrylate - (ethylene glycol) Me ether methacrylate - Methacrylic acid - polyethyleneglycol diacrylate copolymer, (b) 0.2 g phenoxyethanol, 0.2 g perfumes, 0.043 g glycerol and (balance to 100 g).
