Elastomer composition used for making wound dressing

A rubber compn. comprising 2.5 - wt.% of ABA triblock copolymers comprising two thermoplastic styrene terminal blocks A and a central elastomer block B that is a satd. olefin; 45 - 97.5 wt.% polyisobutene having a very low (700 - 3,000) mol. wt. and optionally an AB diblock copolymer is used for making wound dressing. A typical rubber compn. (example 3) contains 6 wt.% Kraton G 1654, 93.8 wt.% Pionier 2076 and 0.2 wt.% Irganox 1010.
