Process for polymerizing a composition in the presence of a block copolymer

Abstract : A method for polymg. a compn. in the presence of at least one block copolymer used to make polymers with controllable morphol., esp. a specific ratios of soft to hard segments in polymer mol. comprises mixing ≥1 macroinitiator, ≥1 block copolymer and a soln. comprising ≥1 monomers, polymg. the soln. by ATRP, RAFT, ROTP or nitroxide mediated polymn. and removing the formed polymer. Thus, 3,​7-​dioxa-​4-​aza-​6-​phosphanonanoic acid, 4,​5-​bis(1,​1-​dimethylethyl)​-​6-​ethoxy-​2,​2-​dimethyl-​, 1,​4-​butanediyl ester 6,​6'-​dioxide prepd. by reacting monoalkoxyamine 3,​7-​dioxa-​4-​aza-​6-​phosphanonanoic acid, 4,​5-​bis(1,​1-​dimethylethyl)​-​6-​ethoxy-​2,​2-​dimethyl-​, 6-​oxide with 1,​4-​butanediol diacrylate was used for manufg. Me methacrylate - Bu acrylate diblock copolymer.
