Le cromlech Méatsé 12 (Commune d‟Itxassou, Lapurdi)

Abstract : The cromlech Meatse 12, of 5 m. in diameter, presents an exterior crown made of small flagstones piled, surrounded by a succession of flagstones tangently planted. The central coffer, absolutly barren, is built with a cover and 4 flagstones. The only objects are a "chopping-tool" and a pebble disposed on the crown. This monument, essentially symbolic, no contained neither charcoal nor human burned bones. Palynologie places it in subboreal or in subatlantic.
