Abstract

This paper presents a physical model of the thermal behavior of a phase change material wallboard subject to periodic heating and cooling cycles. The physical model is validated by comparing our results with previously published results. The effect of the thermophysical properties of the PCM on the thermal behavior of the PCM building construction is also discussed. \textcopyright 2015 IEEE.
