Hyphenated techniques for elemental speciation in biological systems

Résumé

Hyphenated techniques for elemental speciation in biological systems were discussed. The combination of a chromatographic separation technique with atomic spectrometry has become a fundamental tool for speciation analysis. The volatility of the species allowed the use of gas chromatography with its inherent advantages.
